Lesser Crested Tern

A rare bird to Britain and a lifer for me, this one had been found a few days previous around the Exe estuary in Devon. It eventually found the bouys at Turf locks to its liking and could be seen preening and making short flight from here, I left it to the last minute as usual ,but glad I went on the day I did as the next day it was gone and not seen again!. Fantastic bird.
