Escapee ?

September 09.This male Hooded Merganser has made its home for the time being at Radipole Lake in Weymouth.Is it an escapee or a genuine vagrant?.It was'nt behaving like a wild bird, but then a lot of wildfowl dont.The powers that be (whoever they are)will probably decide that its missing from someones collection.But a nice bird all the same.
